My Fav Youtubers!

Hello! So I thought I'd change things up a bit and share with you all my current Youtuber favs! Everytime I look in my subscription box, they are the ones I get the most excited about!:)

1.Claire Ashley from Ultimakeover
Better

My sis first introduced me to Claire Ashley because she really felt like a youtuber we'd be friends with in real life! She is so genuine, nice and has the best makeup tutorials! I feel like there are plenty of youtubers that go for dramatic makeup looks but Miss Claire offers wearable and beautiful looks that are so feminine, chic, and classy! She's also recently been doing some vlogs that are so entertaining and makes you feel like you're part of the vlog as well!
Go Claire! :)

2. Anna from ViviannaDoesMakeup

I've been watching Anna grow so much within the past year! Her vlogs with Lily Pebbles are so entertaining! Although I don't live in the  UK, it's nice to have a glimpse of it through her and Lily's vlogs (their accents are a plus too)! I admire her hardwork and dedication to her blog, as she recently won a Bloglovin' award!
Go Ana!:)

3. Katherin from Kaaatherin

Katherin is actually from Chile and her videos are in Spanish but don't let that stop you from watching! For me,Youtube is a place to learn-even new languages and people. Although I grew up speaking Spanish, I still feel like I need to learn more and watch other youtubers to gain knowledge on their culture and language*! Of course Katherin is sweet, friendly and basiclly your best friend from another country! I love her editing skills and her accent so much!
Saludos Katherin!:)

* Many people aren't aware that different Spanish-speaking countries have different accents and customs. It's a bit offensive if you squeeze them all into one category.*

4. Alexis from French Guy Cooking

Alexis is one of the few guy youtubers I watch, and for good reason! He's so entertaining! He's your classic French Chef, but more like you're cool French bestfriend! He shows you how to cook delicous and easy things, most are French inspired but he definitely mixes it up now and then! His videos are sure to keep you entertained and leave you with a good taste (pun intended)!
Go Alex!

5. Pemberley Digital: Emma Approved

I don't even think I need to explain how much I loved this webseries! I've always loved Jane Austen's novels and when I came across The Lizzie Bennet Diaries webseries based on Pride & Prejudice, I was seriously addicted! I then began to watch Emma Approved based on Emma, that's when I was like, WHERE THE FLIP HAVE I BEEN?! They came out with new episodes every Monday and Thursday and I was so excited to see them, you should've seen me in June! Even on vacation, I hunted down wifi like no other just to watch them. Oh gosh, I sound like a crazy person! Anywho, if you like a good story or if you're a Jane Austen fan like me, you'll love this!

Tell me who you're watching! I'd love to hear!:)

The goldbrushes.

Happy Friday everyone! Can 10 brushes for $8 be real?! Is it worth it?
Then keep on scrolling to find out!

As you can see I definitely have been 'testing' these to bits!:) Nevertheless, I wanted to review each brush individually starting with

1. Angled stipple brush
I love using this to blend and contour with darker foundations on the temples, cheekbones and jawline but the brush had plenty of  fallout.

2. Flat top stipple brush
I thought this would be the best for foundations but it didn't blend well and it had plenty of fallout.

3. Contour brush
I have no complaints! It contoured beautifully and DID NOT have fallout!:)

4. Kabuki brush
I am so sad that this brush had the MOST fallout, it was the best at blending/ buffing foundations!

5. Angled Kabuki brush
I use this with my shimmer cubes ( highlighter) on my cheek bonesand love how it does so perfectly!:) But this brush again has plenty of fallout.

Overall: Although these brushes are soft, dense, and cheap, only after the first few washes*did these began to have fallout (look closely at the picture below). Also, I had to glue 2 of them back together because they were poorly attached. These are NOT worth buying.

* I wash my brushes with a mix of olive oil/dishsoap and dry them upside down*
Brushes listed in order from Left to Right

Negative review aside, here's a more positive one on the

The Eye Set:
1. Small stipple brush
I love how beautifully it blends out even the harshest colors.

2. Crease blender brush
If I don't use brush #3, I opt for this one for a softer look.

3. Eye contour brush
This is dense enough but soft enough to work into the crease of the eyes and is literally my favourite!

4. Angled brush
This one is great for a smokey look.

5. Angled stipple brush
Again, great for blending.

Overall: These have little to no fallout and blend eyeshadows beautifully! I definitely recommend these and the price is just as amazing!:)
Brushes listed in order from Left to Right

The shipping:
I ordered these from Dresslink with free shipping and from China to California- this took about 3-4 weeks to arrive. You can definitely pay $5-10 more for faster service but I was just being cheap!:) Despite free shipping, the brushes still came in tact!:)

Thanks for reading everyone! Hope my in-depth review wasn't too long!:)

The august favs.

A bit late on this one, but these products are worthy of my first monthly favorites! They are:

2.Neutrogena Healthy Skin Foundation (Natural Beige 60)

Keep in mind I don't have mature skin yet but I just wanted to decrease the visible laugh lines and creases under my eyes that make my face look older than it should. So I used this for about a month after I cleansed my face and before I applied my moisturizer. But come on lets get to it! Did it work? Would you repurchase?YES. I saw a dramatic change in the laugh lines and under eye creases! They're not 100% gone but I think that a good decrease in the visibilty of my lines for the cost of an affordable cream is ok with moi :)

Foundation left, Eyeshadow right
Could this really be a dupe for the Nars Sheer Glow Foundation?! Well I've never tried it but what I can say is that this foundation is definitely worthy of trying out! I love the satin finish! It's not too dewy and not too matte. I love that you can build this up to a medium-full coverage! I don't think you'll be disappointed with this product, in fact, this might just be for all skin types :)

3. Wet n' Wild Single Eyeshadow
This is such an affordable and all around necessary eyeshadow color that allows you to go from a natural to dramatic look.I use it as a base color on the lids and I love the color because it's a nice cream color that doesn't look or feel  chalky. It can also be used on the browbone as a highlighter!

4. Mark. Touch & Glow Shimmer Cream Cubes All Over Face Palette
This is basically the first highlighter I've ever tried and WOW.You can use this as a highlighter, eyeshadow, lipstick, haha joking on the last one!Unless your'e into that, then by all means! I love how you can swish your brush and combine all the colors to get a beautiful glow that isn't too IN YOUR FACE, instead its a natural glow, don't get me wrong, you can pack this thing but it looks great with a quick application on the cheekbones, browbones, and inner corner.Trust me,you'll get compliments and the best part? These are creamy and are not a glittery mess!

Thanks for reading beautifuls!
